#1 Race Against the Clock: A Notary Appointment Saga

In the first chapter of our journey, we found ourselves on a race against time. The destination: Gijón, where a notary appointment awaited us. With a 10-hour drive ahead, optimism filled the car as we set out.

However, fate had other plans. Two hours away from Gijón, our vehicle (VW T4) decided it had had enough. Stranded on the highway at 1 am, the clock ticking, the stress was indescribable. The notary appointment loomed at 9 am, and here we were, uncertain if we'd ever make it.

Crisis mode kicked in. It took us a nerve-wracking four hours to arrange a mechanic, tow the car, and secure a taxi to speed us to our hotel. Sleep was a luxury—two short hours before the big moment.
